Policy. The COMPOTEXA company and its affiliated companies (hereinafter referred to as “COMPOTEXA, the “Company”, “we” or “our”) are committed to protecting your data.

In order to use our website, you do not need to submit any personal information. Unless you want to order a product or service or communicate with us. The following describes how we collect, process and use personal data on our website:

 a)      Data when you visit our website.

This data is used and stored exclusively to answer your query, establish contact and initiate the corresponding technical steps. This data is processed to fulfill contracts or for measures prior to entering into a contract, or we have a legitimate interest in the processing and there is no conflict of interest in which your interests would take precedence, as processing the request is in our mutual interest. After processing this request, we will only retain the communications if retention periods are required by law or regulations or limitation periods apply, or further retention is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

c)      Registration data to receive the newsletter.

If you register for our newsletter service, COMPOTEXA will store and process your personal data (e.g. name, address and email address) for marketing, advertising and promotional purposes. The processing of this data is subject to your consent or is carried out to fulfill contracts. In this case, we will regularly send you promotional communications about the services and products relating to COMPOTEXA products, services, offers or events. You can unsubscribe from receiving such newsletters at any time without giving reasons by contacting the contact address below or unsubscribing using the unsubscribe option in the newsletter. Once you unsubscribe, your email address will be immediately deleted from our newsletter distribution list, except for a copy in our opt-out database, in which we have a legitimate interest in ensuring that you no longer receive newsletters receive.

d)     Disclosure.

4.2. USER SURVEY

 b)   Social plugins: COMPOTEXA uses so-called social plug-ins (“buttons”) from social networks such as Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn and Twitter. When you visit our website, these buttons are deactivated by default - so no data will be transmitted to the relevant social networks without your intervention. To use these buttons, you must activate them by clicking on them. They will then remain active until you deactivate them again or delete your cookies (see “Cookies”). After activation, a direct link to the server of the social network in question is created. The contents of the button are then transmitted directly from the social network to your browser and incorporated into the website. Once buttons are activated, social networks can retrieve data regardless of whether you actively use the button or not. 6. THIRD PARTY PROCESSORS

Having said this, COMPOTEXA is free to commission other companies or individuals (“processors”) to carry out certain work on behalf of COMPOTEXA. Our processors are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of personal data and may only use this information for the purposes defined by COMPOTEXA. The tasks carried out by processors include, for example, technical services, payment services and deliveries, credit risk reduction or fraud protection, carrying out analysis, providing search information or intra-group processing. COMPOTEXA is a global company with cross-border legal entities, business processes, management structures and technical systems. Accordingly, our data protection measures are designed to ensure the protection of personal data worldwide. COMPOTEXA's approach is to grant access to personal data only to authorized employees, representatives, contractors, legal entities and processors for whom COMPOTEXA has determined a legitimate interest in knowing and accessing this data, so that they can exercise their respective responsibilities. COMPOTEXA applies technical and organizational security measures to protect the data transmitted by you and managed by us against manipulation, loss, destruction and access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously optimized in line with technical developments. Where we have given you (or you yourself) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of this password. You may not share this password.


8.  DATA STORAGE

Unless we have specified specific storage periods above, the following general regulations apply: Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the intended purposes or you revoke your consent or object to storage on the basis of a legitimate interest and we do not have overriding legitimate interests. 4.      to take legal action and lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authorities in the event of a possible violation of your rights in the processing of your personal data;

5.      to request that (i) the personal data relating to you that you have provided to us be provided to you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and (ii) such data be transmitted to another controller without hindrance from us; If this is technically feasible, you have the right to request that we transmit your personal data directly to another person responsible.

You have the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning you at any time for reasons relating to your particular situation. In this case, please provide us with information about your particular situation. After assessing the facts you have provided, we will either stop processing your personal data or explain to you our compelling legitimate reasons for continuing the processing.
